The survivalist we have all come to love, Bear Grylls is subject to another controversy as a row has broken out about his alleged cashing in on his role as Scout Chief. He has been accused of exploiting his position as Chief Scout by way of using his position to promote sales of his new range of knives aimed at children. Critics are slamming him for talking about his position in a promotional video. Whilst Bear has not broken any laws, many believe he is treading in dangerous territory by using his position in a voluntary organisation as away to promote products. In a statement to the press Bear stated ’I take being Chief Scout very seriously and never develop licensees with the intent to profit off my position.’ Continue Reading

The survivalist we have all come to love is Bear Grylls. It seems the man that has become famous for drinking his own urine and eating delicacies like snake, animal intestines and insects has captured our imagination and we can’t get enough of him. In a rare Bear Grylls magazine interview we take a glimpse into what makes this man do the things he does and why he does them.
Bear has publicly stated that his love of his family and his faith are what’s most important to him. His love of adventure developed at a young age when his father used to take him climbing.
